I had a miscarriage in April 2011 my fiancé and I been trying ever since. I am a week late as of today and I was just wondering when I should test?

We actually haven't set a date we had plans to get married last year but had to put it on hold because of finding out my fiancé had a brain tumor and had surgery feb of this year but now he has made a full recovery we've been together for more then 5 years and after having and unplanned pregnancy a few months ago and losing it we realized we would love to have a family now. : )) Thanks for the advice

You can take a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex or after a missed period, with both you should get an accurate result. Though I have to ask, when are you getting married? Why not wait until after your wedding and honeymoon? I don't think you would want to be feeling sick/nauseous on that day. That would not be fun. Plus it's great to have time for just you and your hubby before having a family, that way it won't be as stressful when you do begin to have a family. Something to really think about.
