Pregnant after period

Hi,
My girlfriend and I had unprotected intercourse but I did not ejaculate inside her. There was some precum involved.
After that she had two regular periods and in the middle of third month she had a very light bleeding. Now her period is late by a week.
Is there a chance she could be pregnant? I heard that the period gets rid of the eggs and having period after intercourse means that there is no chance of pregnancy.
please help.
Thanks!

I would have her go get a blood test done at the hospital just to be sure, you never know & it's better to find out sooner than later.
