Premature Labor
I'm 27weeks today & I had an appointment today , my doctor said my cervix is short and I could have my baby boy premature , My baby boy is healthy and super active .. Has anyone had premature labor or is also in risk of having their babys early ?
I had mu daughter at 25 weeks she was born at 1 pound 7 ounces. Then I miscarried at 18 weeks now im 15 weeks and had to have a cerclage put in due to an incompetent cervix. So im considered high risk thank god your 27 weeks. Don't stress take it easy are you on bed rest?
Sorry about your miscarriage and no my doctor hasn't told me anything about bed rest, should I be staying off my feet ?
I went into preterm labor at 22 weeks and lost both my sons. You're 27 weeks so i'm sure your baby will make it! So don't get discouraged with my experience. They found out with you ahead of time so they will be able to stop it! Mine was last minute and water had broke, so I had no choice but to deliver. But, I would recommend you do be on bed rest. Your DR should have recommended that as well! Good luck sweetie, I pray your little one will stay tucked in there until term!(:
I mean I would say so especially if your high risk for going into premature labor. Are they monitoring you weekly?
At first I started having contractions at 25weeks I went into the hospital and they gave me medicine to stop the contractions they also keep me over night to monitor me and see if I keep getting contractions thankfully they stopped , my doctor wanted to see my a week after that to make sure everything was going good he mesured my stomach and listened to the babys heart beat he said everything looked fine . Ever since I went to the hospital I haven't gotten contractions, Yesterday I went for a check up at an imaging center to look at the babys organs and his body parts thankfully again everything looked good till the lady looked at my cervix and sent it off to my doctor I also had my 2weekly check up yesterday and that's when my doctor said he looked at my cervix pictures and saw my cervix was short and told me I could have premature labor if any contractions started to rush to the hospital, and he hasn't told me about bed rest but I'll be sure enough to stay off my feet as most as I can. And i'm good baby is moving same amount as always no pains or anything
