Also, please remember, if you are a FTM,  most FTM don't deliver until closer to 41 weeks.

I think 36 weeks is technically full term. I took castor oil at 39 weeks(Sunday) and had my membranes stripped the following day(Monday). I had my daughter the day after that.(Tuesday). I didn't have diarrhea nor was I dehydrated. But I would wait a few more weeks unless you talk to your doctor.

The definition change came from an article that was published last year in October. The definition became effective in the United States in January of 2014. Some practices have no adjusted their policies to reflect the new guidelines set forth by the ACOG.

There isn't anything wrong with castor oil, but it is recommended to wait until 39 weeks. Or their could be problems. I, however am not that brave lol good luck!!

You still have time. Baby will come when baby is ready. Don't rush it. Please don't take castor oil. You'll only cause your self more misery. It can cause severe diarrhea and cramping,  dehydration, issues for baby, exhaustion and more. It most likely won't cause labor at all this early. It it does, you will be too tired and sick to labor like you should.

By the American College of OBGYN's, you are not considered full term until 39 weeks. Please speak with your health care professional before trying to induce labor. Research using legitimate sources of information before trying castor oil, please.
