Question about OPK

I  just have a question about OPK. I just started them today and i was wondering do they get darker and darker as ovulation gets closer?
Mine is pretty dark but not as dark as the control line and I am not sure when I ovulate so I was just wondering if it will get darker each day or did I already miss ovulation?
I know the test is neg.

I'm SO sorry to hear that!  I hope and pray you get a bfp as well and continue to have a healthy 9 months!  I couldn't imagine so i'm not going to try to but I do want to say that i'm so sorry!  It might take your body awhile to get re-adjusted. Good Luck and lots of SSBD your way!!

I;m not completly sure what day of my cycle I gave birth to my daughter sept 2nd she was born at 18wks Istopped bleeding completly on Sept. 20th so my cycle is all messed up. So I decided to try OPKs to see when I would O. I am really hoping to get a BFP asap.

They will get darker leading up to ovulation! :)  What cycle day did you start testing on?
