Question about cervix position

I had an ultrasound today and over the last week, there was almost no change in the length of my cervix. The baby is head down deep in there right against my cervix. The us tech said my cervix is anterior....  She said nothing more.

For those who do not know, i have been in hospital for a week due to risk of preterm labor as my cervix is short. I decided to google anterior cervix after seeing something saying cervix was posterior to learn the difference.... Could not find much, but everything says anterior means labor is near. This really worries me, because i have a long way to go.

I had never heard of either one until today when my dr said it's a good sign that mine is posterior. I know that she said it's far back so she really had to reach for it and when you get closer to labor your cervix gets more low and centered. I assume posterior is still high and towards the back and anterior must be low and center. Just a guess.
