Preachin to the choir, sister! LOL I've been through that "home stretch" SIX Times ;) It doesn't last forever and before you know it you'll be holding that precious baby in your arms and wondering "HOw has it been almost a year since I had you already?" (My youngest will be 1 in Sept, my oldest just turned 15)
you are not full term at 37 weeks you're TERM. ful term is 40 weeks. just be grateful you got this far I've known loads of people that have had baby come early (between 30-35 weeks) I've even known someone who had her baby at 21 weeks (little girl survived btw) so just enjoy this time while you have it
I hear ya! Lucky you you're so close :). Congrats and good luck!
tell me about it - my due date is next Wed and i am so ready to have this bub. I am so uncomfortable and feel like all my activities are restricted because of my big tummy. Very ready to meet the little one and move on the next stage of cuddles and kisses.
Thanks ladies. They aren't kidding when they say the last month is the hardest... Emotionally and physically. And I can't imagine getting any bigger lol.
At 37 weeks, even though you are considered full term, your baby's lungs may not be mature enough for delivery. As hard as it is, and as uncomfortable as I know you are, just keep in mind that it is in your baby's best interests to stay put until s/he is ready!
I know how bad you want baby here, but remember that the longer they stay the better. Even at 37 weeks baby still has a lot they need to do. Just hang in there, it won't be too much longer.
