If u r sure he is getting enough milk maybe he uses the boob as comfort...have you tried a pacifier?

My baby is a month old and I was having the same issue. Is he actively sucking and swallowing? If not you have to keep him active rubbing his back feet or head when nursing.I saw the lactation consultant when I had my follow up appointment from having him. She helped me out alot. I was supplementing alot of formula because I thought he wasn't getting enough. But after I saw her we determined he was definitely getting enough breast milk and now I have pretty much weened him off formula. He still nurses alot thru out the day but I am now way more confident hes getting enough. His pediatrician also said I can feed him as much as he wants breast fed babies are great when knowing when they are full. Hope this helps. Dont give up hang in there!

He could be staying on your boob just for comfort

Do you try burping him? Maybe he isn't properly latching on?

Yes literally!!! It's so hard to make him stop with putting him back on my boob! idont leak at all! is that bad? Can it be because ididnt eat so healthy while pregnant that he doesnt get full??? & yes milk does dribble out of his mouth. I been giving him formula to full him up too at night so he can get full cuz ifeel like he doesn't! But thank you @rockrose

Hmm  Do you mean literally,  that if you remove him from your breast he screams the whole time and can't  be consoled ever if he's not nursing?

In my experience,  you need to consider that he isn't getting enough nutrition from breastfeeding.  Are you leaking a lot,  and does breastmilk dribble out of his mouth like there is enough produced?

Honestly,  in my experience,  his behavior indicates he's not getting enough to eat.

Best wishes.
