Sad :'(

After my glucose test I got weighed.. I'm so sad my councelor called me fat. My pre pregnancy weight was 135& today I weighed 173 :"(. She told me I'm 3 pounds over weight & my daughter only weighs 2lbs 5oz which made me feel even worse because I'm just blowing up like a balloon.  :'( I was told I must go on a diet & lose the weight so that I don't have any complications. (29weeks+2).

Omg this happened to me!! Last time I went to my midwife (37weeks) she weighed me for the first time since I had found out I was pregnant my weight then was 80kg and now it is 107kg and reffered me to the hospital!!!! I was so shocked and upset thinking that I wasnt normal and un necesseraly fat but when I went to the hospital they said that I was completely normal most of it was water and I didnt have to worry there was no need for me to be there. I think that they can be very insensitive at times and tbh my midwife has been a b@tch threw my whole pregnancy lol im sure that you are fine :)

Calling you fat was not the way to go. Weight gain during pregnancy though should be watched. There are serious complications that can arise from gaining an excessive amount of weight during pregnancy. I was overweight to start so my limit was set at 15 lbs max weight gain for my whole pregnancy. Some women do gain though no matter what they do, just make sure you are eating healthy and getting a little exercise in and you'll be fine.

I was 130 before I got pregnant and ended weighing 197 at the end of my pregnancy. I got told by my doctor at 173 that I could stop gaining weight and honestly I think it was just my body. My baby came out healthy and happy and I was huge. I even ate a lot of greens and fruit during my pregnancy and still gained a lot more weight then I was supposed to. It might just be how your body is reacting to the pregnancy.
