Scared of baby choking

My 3 day old is sleeping wrapped in a swaddler the hospital gave us. I have her in it because she tends to roll to her side when I just have her in her pajamas. She is right next to my bed in her bassinet. However, my concern is that I will be sleeping and she will spit up and choke on it. Am I just being overly paranoid? I've read online that it is proven that babies have natural instincts to prevent choking, but it still worries me. Thank you!

That's the reason I didn't sleep until my first daughter was 2 months old! I was so scared! But you will learn fast that the baby will be fine!

I will definitely pray for you!

I am amazed at how little sleep I've been getting but how much energy I still have. Any opinions on those co-sleeper beds you can put in your bed for baby to sleep on?

I was the same way! The paranoia goes away. I got like 3 hours of sleep in three days because I was scared she'd choke...

I suffered a miscarriage at  9 weeks over a year ago. I just found out this past Thursday that I'm pregnant again.  Can y'all please pray for the health of me and my baby?  I'm very excited to have this baby and I want him/her the healthiest they can be. Thank y'all oh so much!

When my son was born I always thought of that too, & when he even moved in his sleep it woke me up! Don't worry momma, if she chokes you will hear her and jump up real fast. At least that's what I did lol
