I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant and I have been having lower back pain that lasts a long time, a few days ago I felt really watery discharge go all down my leg and 2 days ago I started losing parts of my mucus plug, I wore a pad so nothing gets on my underwear and noticed the discharge on my pad was brown but everythings normal when I pee, I've been having diarrhea too :(

So, how did it go?  I will tell you that I was 1 cm dilated for the whole last month of pregnancy and with my first I went 10 days over due.  ugh.  I'm really glad you went to get checked out!  You just never know with that back pain.  You have your appointment Friday?  And then you probably will be seen every week for the rest of your pregnancy.  One thing I would like you to ask at your appointment Friday is HOW you can reach your doctor if you are having an issue.  They need to have a way for a soon to deliver mama to get in touch with them!  Let me know what the final outcome was yesterday!

They checked and said I am having some contractions but I can't feel anything except in my back and I'm 1cm dilated, they are keeping me here for a hour just to make sure I'm not dilating even more

I think you need to touch base with your doctor before Friday.  Some women do have back labor and it is harder to know if you are IN labor when that is the case.  I know I had all sorts of pain and pains in my last month of pregnancy---  so it could be that but this is a 'better safe than sorry' scenario. If you call the doctor, they may move your regular appointment up sooner OR send you to the ER to see you there.  Let me know what happens!!

Thanks for responding! I've been trying to call my Dr for the past few days but no knew answers. My mom's going to take me to the ER now just to make sure I'm ok, I'll update ASAP

Well, all of those could be signs of labor, I see your point!  So, what I would do is call your OB.  They have 24 hour call meaning a doctor should be available to talk to you.  You call your regular number and they either say leave a message and the doctor will call you right back or they will have an answering service take a message (live person). Either way, you would likely hear back from your doctor or one that they work with within 30 minutes. They can give you the green light to go in.  If you begin having more pains, then ya, go on in o your own now.  They can check your cervix and tell you what is going on  You sound very close.  Do you know how many cm you were at at your last visit/

They didn't check me yet, I'm supposed to go in on Friday morning for a regular exam, I believe they are going to check if I'm dilated then but I'm scared to wait that long incase I go into preterm labor
