Sick :/

Hi everyone! I am brand new to this. I am 6w5d and I have had severe morning sickness, every moment of everyday. I finally couldn't handle it anymore, I was very dehydrated, dizzy, couldn't even drink water. I went to the er this morning and they prescribed me promethazine. I just want to know if anyone else has been prescribed this, I just want to know it is safe.

Congrats! :) I have never been more excited and I am so lucky to have such a supportive family and amazing husband! I know we will make it, hopefully it will go away in a couple weeks like eveyone keeps promising! And thanks everyone for the responses, since this is my first I am so paranoid/scared of doing anything wrong!

It's fine to use while pregnant. I had hyperemesis with my daughter and was on Phenergan (promethazine) 3-4x daily as well as Zofran for 7 months of it.

Yes it is safe I'm currently using it and used it with my older daughters and they are both fine.

This is my third and i am 30. It's still a lot of excitement, i never had gotten so sick though. But we will be ok ;-)

I am so so sick aswell i hate it! I try everything like ginger and crackers, sprite. You name it, i too am around 7w.
