I got got some primrose oil!

I just wanna hear everyones experiences, nd how they used it!  I'm officially 37wks, I've already took one orally, waiting on bed time to insert one vaginally. Should I poke a hole in it first?

I will be getting red rasberry tea tomorrow (:

As close to your cervix as you can get and ya you can poke holes in it to get it to melt away faster.

Raspberry leaf tea does not soften your cervix...it helps tone and keep your uterine wall healthy. It's great to keep drinking after your baby too so your uterus will shrink back to normal size.
I used both Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) and raspberry leaf tea. I started EPO around the 36th week mark. With my first I used them orally and vaginally. My last I just did them orally because it can be a bit messy. You actually increase how much you take as the weeks pass. This week start with two...next week, increase it. Same with the tea. This week have a cup..this week increase to 2 and so on.
I contribute my drinking the tea to having fast labours. It is supposed to help have more contributing contractions.

You need to drink Red raspberry leaf tea over the course of a few weeks 3 times daily leading up to labor. it does not induce labor. It only tones your uterus so that you will get a bigger kick out of contractions while in labor.

It helps soften your cervix. They both do. Its supposed to hell for an easier and faster labor.

That should be OK. Just be careful. Clean hands only! And cut your nails! Good luck! :)

I've been taking both with no issues except for that the primrose oil will soften your stool. I heard some women make a mess while in labor. Hope that's not the issue with me. Lol. Good luck with it! Its definitely made my braxton hicks more regular.

I'm hoping to try the primrose too when I'm 36-37 weeks though I'm not a big fan of the tea I tried that last time and I dont think it did anything I swear I had a horrible labor so not even going to try that again but I'm hoping primrose will help lots I want to hear as many experiences as I can to get an idea of what I could expect

I googled how to use the primrose oil and it says that your body heat heat will melt the coating. That's why you insert it at bedtime. I'm gonna start using it tonight.
