With my son I didn't dilate until I was 41 weeks with membrane sweep... Hopefully I get a kick start... I read on goggle u can start using natural ways to kick start labor at 34 weeks...:)

Nvm didn't read far enough sorry hah!
What is the oil and tea exactly used for..? Sorry Ima clueless ftm from what I gathered through the comments you take/use them further along in your pregnancy?
I've never tried those methods.... But when that time comes for me then... I'll b a guinea pig... N test... Cuz who's knows if I will get a gud outcome like the rest of you gals... Gud luck tho!!
N lastly Wat does the primrose look like???
As close to your cervix as you can get and ya you can poke holes in it to get it to melt away faster.
So theres no certain way to do it, like how far in? Or just as far as I can go?
Vaginally not finally lol
I started taking primrose about a week ago. I only done 2 finally but i take 2 a day orally. I'll be 38w tomorrow. And i was checked yesterday. Still the same as 36w )': i wish he'd just come out!!
Raspberry leaf tea does not soften your cervix...it helps tone and keep your uterine wall healthy. It's great to keep drinking after your baby too so your uterus will shrink back to normal size.
I used both Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) and raspberry leaf tea. I started EPO around the 36th week mark. With my first I used them orally and vaginally. My last I just did them orally because it can be a bit messy. You actually increase how much you take as the weeks pass. This week start with two...next week, increase it. Same with the tea. This week have a cup..this week increase to 2 and so on.
I contribute my drinking the tea to having fast labours. It is supposed to help have more contributing contractions.
You need to drink Red raspberry leaf tea over the course of a few weeks 3 times daily leading up to labor. it does not induce labor. It only tones your uterus so that you will get a bigger kick out of contractions while in labor.
I started to use primrose oil at 34 Weeks, Inserting 2 In The Vagina Before Bed I At 35 Weeks I Was 3CM Dilated 60% Effaced.. I Have A Dr Apt Today So Hopefully It's Still Working
It helps soften your cervix. They both do. Its supposed to hell for an easier and faster labor.
What does the raspberry leaf do?
That should be OK. Just be careful. Clean hands only! And cut your nails! Good luck! :)
How do I know if its far enough in there? Does it matter? He stuck his whole finger in.
Oh wow, that sounds horrible :/ lol, maybe I shouldn't take so many orally??
I've been taking both with no issues except for that the primrose oil will soften your stool. I heard some women make a mess while in labor. Hope that's not the issue with me. Lol. Good luck with it! Its definitely made my braxton hicks more regular.
I'm hoping to try the primrose too when I'm 36-37 weeks though I'm not a big fan of the tea I tried that last time and I dont think it did anything I swear I had a horrible labor so not even going to try that again but I'm hoping primrose will help lots I want to hear as many experiences as I can to get an idea of what I could expect
oops thts what I meant, thanks for the concern tho! Lol I'm sure its the right one, its from a vitamin shop.
I googled how to use the primrose oil and it says that your body heat heat will melt the coating. That's why you insert it at bedtime. I'm gonna start using it tonight.
