Oh ok ha cause I want too do it but idk who I want in the room yet and if I decide to have my mom and my bfs mom in there and I had to be like all out there I wouldn't have them in there cause yeah I think it's more important for me to do it then not just because they want to be in there. Thank you ladies.
Usually the baby is directly skin to skin with you, but the hospital gown and blanket will cover you up. Its not like you're just hanging out there. Skin to skin is sooo good for your baby. It helps regulate their breathing, heartbeat, and temperature and increases breastfeeding success!
Sry for all the typos phone auto corrects everything!
Skin to skin or kangaroo care didn't mean you have to be naked. I mean it's best and easiest to have your crest exposed bit you can be created up lol :-)Through a breastfeeding gown or hospital gown have baby direct skin contact to you. This is great for mommy and daddy to do! It regulates their body temperature and sooo much more it's excellent bonding for both parents (my husband did it will our son) its great for breastfeeding it helps with milk production, it regulates their blood sugars also and keeps then calmer. Skin to skin is very recommended even after you get it the hospital at home the lower you do it the better the benefits!
Its direct skin to skin contact meaning they will pull the gown back to get direct skin.
Skin to skin meaning babies skin next to your skin. If your breastfeeding, you can have skin to skin with your top down.
You will have the gown on and they will put your baby on your chest as soon as he/she comes out. They know your heartbeat so they try to do it as soon as possible so they can feel comfort, but when i wasbin the room with my sis she still had the gown on, so im pretty sure thats how they do it everytime.
Your top half doesn't hang out. I had a sports bra on when i did skin to skin with my last and my husband also did skin to skin with her too
So when I do it at the hospital am I like naked or what? Like does anyone know the process?
In my breastfeeding class they basically said that skin to skin is exactly what it sounds like. They also said your boobs will regulate the babies temperature without bothering Yours. They said if the baby is cold they would warm them up an also cool them off
Skin to skin. Is baby skin against you.
