So nervous, scared, help

I'm 34 weeks and have been at the doctors all morning. She made me go take an ultrasound this morning where my baby was measuring small. I went back to see the doctor after that and she told me to go get lunch then go back to ultrasound and get another one where they will do like an APGAR test on the baby in my stomach. Has anyone had to do this? I'm so nervous that something's wrong with my baby.

Its a test they do once baby is born. Babes first test. Im not sure how they do it in an ultrasound but it is to evaluate the condition of a newborn using a scale . They check colour, heartbeat, reflex, muscle tone and respiration. If u score above 6 then baby is fine. Btw 4 and 6 babe often needs resuscitation and undrr 4 is a more dramatic lifesaving techniques. They afministor the test 1 min and 5 mins aftr birth. So im not sure if this is the same thing they do in ultrasound or not. Try not to worry to much they willdo everything they can to make sure yiur babe is healthy. Wish i could be more help.

That's not too bad!! When I delivered she was 4lb 8.3oz I think at 34 weeks she was just barely 3lb. They will most likely just continue to monitor your babies growth(but the bright side is more ultrasounds!) and if your baby isnt growing the way they'd like they will most likely induce. But with that weight I don't see them inducing, unless your babies growth suddenly stops. Good luck and I wish you the best!

I'm guessing that's what they'll do, shedding say it was apgar but was similar to. They said she's 4lbs 6 ounces and I'm 34 weeks but measuring at 32 weeks

From my understanding apgar is a test given to newborns, not babies still in the womb.. I'm not sure how they do that. But my baby was measuring small most of my pregnancy, I had restricted blood flow in the umbilical cord which in turn wasn't given appropriate amounts of nutrition to baby girl. So I had to deliver early at 36+5... I'm assuming they will do a very detailed ultrasound where they measure everything. Blood flow, your baby from head to toe(head, arms, legs, etc). How small is your jelly bean measuring? Did they give you a weight?

I'm sorry I can't help, I thought they only do apgars on newborn babies so I'm not even sure what to tell you. Stay strong Mama, I'm praying for you and your little one
