Pregnancy after a vasectomy?

I am 26 years old.   My boyfriend is 33 and had a vasectomy a year and a half ago.  We don't use any other method of protection and are completely monogomous.  I have missed my period for almosty the last 3 months except for some light spotting and cramping.  My breasts hurt, I am always tired and sometimes nauseus.  Everyday I keep hoping i am going to get my period, but it never comes.  We really don't want children.  I still  haven't taken a pregnancy test because I am too scared and frankly I just think the chances are too low that I really could be pregnant.  The statistics say it's like 1 out of 2,000 or something like that.  So, is there something else going on with my body?  Or could I indeed be pregnant?  Oh boy.......or girl.  Blah.

While it's rare to happen, vasectomy's can reverse and you can end up pregnant.  Just take a test and see what it says.

i agree with Austin. the chance is slim but there is always a chance for mishaps the same way with a woman having a tubal ligation. take a test to know for sure and put your mind at ease good luck to you
