Still HPT+ after 5 months!

I had a miscarriage and D&E/C in December/Jan. My HPTs are STILL showing positive, they've never shown negative. Probably under 50miu, I had a blood test and they showed 20 but they aren't going to test again anytime soon. I'm also having really light periods, 3 days, no fresh red blood, just old. Dunno what to do, doctors won't listen, EPU are ******* at the best of times.
Help. :(

There's also the possibility that you were carrying twins and only lost one of them this happened to a friend of mine good luck :-)

Go to the emergency room . They can schedule an ultrasound and check for any remains I had a dnc anything left behind can cause infections and health issues talk to a doctor or find a new one at least to be checked out

If repeated blood tests show that you still have hCG levels, this should be brought to the attention of a doctor.  Don't take the nurses' word for it, call your doctor.

I was thinking that too, but the EPU nurses turned me AWAY and just gave me a bloodtest instead of an ultrasound. :(

You probably have a little bit of retained placental tissue that is still vascular.  Your doctor should be taking this seriously and ordering an ultrasound-guided D&C to get it out.
