Stomach issues

This isn't pregnancy related, although I am pregnant..
But my 11 year old daughter keeps complaining every now and then her stomach hurts. And it's mostly after dinner. She's fed and full. She's having bowel movements. But she can be very dramatic and acts fine most of the time.

Anyone have any idea what could cause consistant stomach pain in the abdomin area? Whenever I take her to the doctor she never complains about her tummy.

My gf's daughter said her tummy hurt all the time too.  Turned out to be acid reflux. Only a peditrician caught it to.  the GP they were going to didn't.  She would eat all the time because it made it stop hurting..so she just ate and ate.   I would ask the dr about it because its normally something if they say it is hurting.

could be IBS. causes very painful cramps when the bowel is full, and even when its not, due to trapped wind. I have had it all my life but was only diagnosed after the birth of my son when I changed from having infrequent bowel movements to having constant diahorrea (sorry if tmi!!). It could also be stress related, we all feom time to time dont even know we're stressed and kids in particular display physical signs of stress...IBS is also often made worse with stress. Good luck to you x
