Stories?

Alrighty ladies, I know I am posting a lot lately, but I have a question or favour to ask you!

Do any of you know someone or have had it happen yourself ... Starting at 0cm dilated at 39 weeks and still managed to go into natural labour by the time they hit 41 weeks?

I'm really depressed that I haven't dilated at all. and there's less than 6 days left until my due date... I do NOT want to be induced and it's really upsetting me.. Any stories would be appreciated :D

At least you get induced soon Luxejess, I don't get to schedule my induction until Myd ue date, and I still have to wait a week and a half.... If I have to be induced it'll be really close to my birthday :/ lol.

I was less then 1 cm 2 days before I went into labor with my 3rd.  Had her a day early.  My first 2 I was really dialated weeks before my due date and they were both late, 7 and 9 days.

It sure is lol I wish my body had done more for me in time instead of me having to go through it all in a short amount of time once they induce me on Thursday. But it is what it is I guess. I tried walking, spicy food, sex with nipple stimulation, doing chores, and going over speed bumps but none of it worked for me.

I hope I'm that lucky! What did you ladies do to stimulate labour? I plan on walking all day tomorrow as suggested above, but what else can I do?

@manda same here. Well not in 5 hours I went 0-10 in 28 hours which may be worse BC my pain was prolonged. But pain meds? Ha! The hospital REFUSED them to me

I went from 0 - 10 in about 5 hours and only 4 days before my due date. Also my boy was a little fatty just a hair under 9lbs.....
Oh and all naturally, no pain relief, no labour inducing drugs... All me!

Isn't it a **** off luxejess? I literally came home and cried because I feel so exhausted. I've been having contractions but apparently not enough to get the ball rolling :/

I wanna know the same thing! I will be 41 weeks in a couple of hours and I have been only a fingertip dialated since 36 weeks when they started checking my cervix.

Thanks Ladies! I appreciate the support! I really wanted to go naturally with my first pregnancy, but I still have time. My OB will not induce me until I'm close to 42 weeks, so tomorrow we are going to walk... Walk everywhere and do whatever it takes.

I was barely dialated half a centimeter when I went in for my 39 week appointment. I started nesting that night and through until the next day. 2 days later here comes my son. I thought for sure I'd be over due

I was induced at 39 weeks and i loved it because i was able to prepare and labor was 7 hours, very fast for first baby but it seemed like forever i cant imagine it taking longer. I had an epidural at 3cm as it was becoming too painful for me and i relaxed and napped. I had them turn epidural on lowest setting. I was able to feel every contraction once i was fully dilated i pushed her out in 30 minutes. I hope to have an easy time this pregnancy too.. Dont we all. :)
