I am 40w3days pregnant. I am miserable and i am ready to give birth. I have tried natural ways like sex, walking, pineapples, nipple stimulation etc. i refuse to use castor oil. I want to know if anyone has gotten there membranes stripped by there dr. Or midwife. ? I have a dr. Appt toma and i want to ask my dr to try to jump start my labor.

I've had it done with my last 2 babies, I was overdue too, and they were both in my arms within 24hrs! Good luck! :)

I went swimming which helped. It took the pressure off and the full body was supported.

Did you test positive for Group B Strep? If so I read you should not have your membranes stripped. Just a thought.
