Well I have gd so not a lot. But I do induldge sometimes. But even before I found out I had gd I didn't eat a lot of sweets. But I always want chocolate and milk before bed so I'll have a couple cookies or a small candy bar most nights.
Sugar is not just in sweets, candy, etc. Carbs play a part in your sugar intake and glucose levels.
I use food journal app to keep track of my diet as I am on a special low fat diet for my complications not weight loss, and I found one juice, my breakfast cereal, and a yoghurt puts me just over my daily revommended amount :-(

I had a big sweet tooth with my daughter. Almost every day I had a coke, coffee and a chocolate bar. Luckily i only gained 16 pounds because I worked my butt off exercising!
