With mine i lost my muscus plug on a fri, on tues i woke up feeling tightenings across my stomach, they were contractions but they didnt hurt. Around 9pm they were starting to come more regular, under every 5 mins or so but still didnt hurt really. I called the hospital they said to wait. I went to sleep woke up at 1am in real pain, and i thought my waters broke (turned out to be my hind waters). Tried having a shower to relax. So much pain. Called hospital again.  They said they would probably send me home but to come in. Got there around 3am. They checked i was 8 cm dilated. Around 6am they broke my waters, by 7am i was holding my little baby boy. They didnt offer me any drugs at all. All i had was 2 panadol. It really hurt. When baby comes the burning feeling is indescribable. I was lucky, mine was quick.  Sorry for long story but thats my labor. Lol hope yours comes soon. My baby was 2 days early. Couldnt imagine how much you r ready to meet your little one. Good luck. Xx
