TMI but I need a quick answer please!

Today I noticed a clear, stringy discharge. Almost like the "egg white" discharge with ovulation. I'm 19W today, is this normal?! I've been told that it could be my mucus plug and I'm FREAKING out! Should I go to the ER??

It is just CM, doesn't sound like a mucus plug to me.

I've had that too, don't worry its just CM.  If it has any hint of blood or if you have cramps too then call your dr.

Your mucous plug will be like Jello... VERY gummy. It's pretty gross. lol.

Probably not mucous plug...probably just some normal stuff coming on out.  Very normal to have changes in cm and production during pregnancy.  I passed something that was the size of my pinky (length and width) around 13w and I was in a panic it was my mucous plug...they saw me that day but the doctor said it was very normal and just cm!  It was stringy and tinged like a yellowy color and clear.  They checked me for an infection too and I didn't have one either.  Just my body producing a giant glob of cm!

I have been losing my mucus plug for over a month and at one point lost a chunk bigger than what you would find in an egg... so its fine, gross but normal.

i lost my plug graually for months with my second. He was roughly 2 weeks overdue

I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow to call my OB and ask them about it, I hope he doesn't decide to come early :[ The hospital here won't even STOP labor if you go into it until 20W and I'm only 19

I'm 16 weeks and have had that a few times. I think its just hormones

It could be the mucas plug,even then it isnt always somthing to worry about.some women experience this for weeks somtimes months.if it makes you feel better then go to er.Im sure things will be ok,
