TMI! food poisoning

Is it normal to keep having food poisoning throughout my pregnancy?  This is my 8th time having it. I did avoid processed food and sausages and whatever the doctor told me to avoid but I'm still getting sick. I don't know what it is but do you ladies have any tips on how to avoid it? I'm so tired of not being able to eat anything and always worried if I will end up getting sick.

I agree with maw,  this doesn't sound like food poisoning.  Food poisoning is from contaminated foods - usually raw foods like pico de gallo or chopped salads.  Or meats that have been improperly cooked or have been placed back on the platter where they were stored when raw.  It can also occur if you're browning meat and are using a slotted utensil throughout the process where raw pieces of the meat are stuck in the slots of the utensil and are reintroduced into the cooked meat.

If you've had actual food poisoning 8 times within a pregnancy,  this is a cause for major concern and an indication that there is a source for food poisoning in your restaurant or choice or your kitchen.  Are you the only one getting sick?
