TWINS!!!

I'm just so shocked! I went for my first prenatal appointment today at 6 weeks and found out it's twins! Twins don't run in my family whatsoever... and as far as I know, not on the father's side either.

This is just such a blessing after a previous molar pregnancy that devastated me... but i'm super nervous now, I wasn't expecting this at all.

I heard it's like double the pain.. sleepiness, nausea, etc. :( Any advice from twin moms? Any advice from SINGLE twin moms? I don't think their dad is going to be involved much.. he hasn't talked to me since I told him I was pregnant, and that was when he thought it was just one... :( oh welllllll!

I'm not sure yet how i'm going to tell my parents or the rest of my family.. they all live 2+ hours away from me. I'm more scared to tell them since I am pretty much doing this alone. I don't want to deal with any criticism that may come with that.

Not to mention I am terrified of just the thought of naturally giving birth... but i'm still super excited!!!

Aww Congrats! Haven't been preggo with twins yet. Everyone in my family thinks one of these times I will be though since twins run in my family. We will see! I'm sorry to hear the father may not be a part of the picture. Maybe he will come around soon. Take it easy and try to find a good support system throughout your pregnancy! Tell your family when you feel ready. Hopefully they will be understanding and supportive. Congrats again!

Congratulations! You can do it! I would find blogs of moms with twins because they'll give you the nitty gritty.
