Tdap: (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) others know pertussis has whopping cough also. When we were 11 or 12 years old we were given this shot before starting school. I'm 33weeks and my midwife told me it was unnecessary unless I plan to be around people that have these diseases.
*so u don't have to get it
Awww I would hate to have my baby shower wit the soreness it feels like ur arm is dead and in pain wen u move or touch it. Yea definitely go tomorrow I think they'll give u another shot to stop the bad reaction.
Oh and a tdap shot is for the whoopy cough doctors recommend u get it wen u r pregnant because if u don't ur baby will still have to get it wit in 3 months of there birth. So they tell pregnant women to get it because if u get it it'll travel to the placenta and ur baby will basically have gotten the protection for the shot u were given. The shot is optional so u have to get it but doctors really recommend that u do.
I'm 37 weeks and just got it, yea I might call my doc tomorrow it's a hard bump with two red marks my babyshower/bday was today and I was in so much pain !!!!
I forgot about that! When are u supposed to take it again?
My arm was sore for about 3 days. Actually it's not even sore, it was straight up painful. But I didn't get any bumps or anything.
Mine was sore for about a week lol. I could barely move my arm and wiping after restroom was a pain and plenty difficult hah
I got it last week. It was sore for 3 days and I couldn't sleeping on my left either. But I didn't get any other reaction other then being sore. The nurse told me if it started to get red around the shot to go back cuz u could have gotten a bad reaction towards the shot.
My arm was sore for days I had a giant bruise
What is the tdap shot? Haven't gotten it yet and not sure what it is
