Thank you! I'll keep that in mind during my time there.
Keep in mind that you are making a person...that's a 24hr job! If you need to cry, cry until you feel better. Enjoy every moment of your pregnancy. It may not seem like it, but it is over so quickly. I am a teacher and I know the stress of the job. Be human and everything else will fall into place.
I teach, at the college level but yes it's very hectic sometimes and sometimes like today something happens and I have to hide my emotions from my students. I'm in the second trimester, and I've tried not to ask too much of myself physically...simplify my lesson plans, sit when I can, blame the baby (lol) when I have to and just cut myself a break for a semester. I also have my little rituals that I do at work to keep me calm...a cup of hot chocolate during my break, a few minutes at my desk with my feet up and not touching any work. Sanity in hectic, work-intensive jobs, particularly with all of our crazy hormonal shifts...is difficult at best so just do the best you can and count down the days until your leave. I'm teaching all the way through the semester because the baby's due in June, so I'm a little jealous. :)
