Telling your parents.

I'm a FTM (20) and I have no idea how to tell my mom that I recently found out I'm pregnant. I'm so scared, I know she'll be very disappointed. Any stories on how yall told y'all's parents?

I had a 3d ultrasound of my baby at 12 weeks I got a DVD of the whole session went to go visit her (I live 2 hrs away) and said Hey let's watch something and put on the DVD and she loved it my baby was so active at 12 weeks

Okay so I found out early and just told my Mom and dad I was Yesterday, I'm 12 weeks.  Seriously just tell here now.  I wish I would of listened to a few people because they were right, it made me so stressed out hiding it because I was nervous to tell them and seriously since I have told them I feel so much better. There actually supporting of everything and my dad is one strict guy. Even though I'm 21 lol. He even brought me a healthy lunch to work today lol.

I was 19 when I got pregnant but didn't find out till I was 20 lol.. I was 6 wks preg.. my mom was neutral about it. Not mad nor happy. She supported me though. Just yell her.. she was there once. She must of been scared herself. She should understand.

U can terminate up to 20 weeks actually just depends where you are. Many people terminate around this time because they find out their baby has down or trisomy. But you are 20 yrs old and an adult. Whether she likes it or not your going to be a mama congrats ! We gave small shoes to my mom.

With my first, when I was 20, I handed my mom an ultrasound print and told her that it was a picture of her grandchild. Lots of people wait until after 12 weeks because there's way less chance of miscarriage at that point and another benefit is that nobody can suggest that you terminate the pregnancy because it's illegal after 12 weeks (as far as I have heard).

I found out on my birthday, and everybody that called me I told. I wrote my dad a letter though because I didn't know how he'd react. So I told him not to call me until he's not mad lol. Turns out, he was just as happy as I was!

I rang my mum said I got something to tell you and made her guess Hahaha so I didn't really have to tell her xx

I showed my mum the positive tests, she was crossfor a ccouple if hours but then she came around. I phoned my Dad to tell him and he was really happy for us :)
