The baby's birth weight?

How would I know the baby's birth weight? I hear it'd have to get an ultrasound but they don't just give ultrasounds unless you are high risk (says my Army doctor) but she has been so uninformative. If I want an ultrasound, I'll have to pay out of pocket unless they give me a referral.

Yup through ultrasound  but they can be off by 2+ pounds so it's kinda pointless.

You really won't know,  until the baby is born what the birth weight is.

Sonograms give you a pretty good idea usually,  but sometimes they're way off.   Also,  unless you get the sonogram done on the day of the birth,  the weight changes every day.

The army doctors are a bunch of idiots. But she's right about the ultrasound. You could just wait I suppose.
