Thirst Changes?

Lately I've been noticing that I've been really thirsty especially at night. Is this bad or normal? I read in my book "What to Expect When Your Expecting" that you should go to the doctor if you experience changes in thirst. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any help. And its weird because I normally NEVER drink water but now I can't get enough of it. And my book's comment is making me worry.

Well luckily I scheduled an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow but it supposed to be about prenatal pills folic acid and vitamin d. Also to let them know that I have patellar femoral dysfunction (loose joints). So you don't think that its bad? Because usually instead of drinking water I would drink milk (and LOTS of it) or juice. But now I'm wanting water more and more. Then I read that comment about when to go in right away in my book. But it said when thirst is accompanied by reduced urination or not urinating all day. Still it worried me.

Your body knows when its lacking something. So you could be dehydrated and your body is trying to get what its missing. If you still feel worried ring your Dr tomorrow.
