thank you cards?

So my baby daddy is throwing me a very smell baby shower. I am so thankful but really don't want then too. They are very very religeious people and told me some mean things about my pregnancy but want to help as much as they can. Just a very small get together. So I was thinking can I give the thank you cards away at the baby shower since I don't know where they all live? And where can I get thank you cards at? Also what's a good idea to give the 2 people throwing the baby shower for me. I want to give them something for doing this for me even though I dont want them too.

I wouldn't buy a gift (gidt card) for someone as a thank you for their gift.  That kind of defeats the purpose of them giving you gifts.  I think a thank you card is absolutely adequate when someone gives you a gift.  As well as the people throwing it for you.  But if u really want to give your inlwas something to show your appreciation I think sending flowers would be appropriate.

You can always make your own or they should have some at walmart or in a baby book (pinterest had good ideas to make some). I made my guest book into a game. I made a calender month of may and june (my due date is june 4th). I had everyone write down what day they think I will have the baby and what time. Whoever is closest to when baby is born will get a small gift card in the mail.

You can everyone an envelope at the shower and have them address them for you.  Then, just father them up and stuff with your thanks you cards.  Also make sure someone is writing down who gave you what in case the cards are separated from their gifts.  I'm giving my sister a bag from Thirty-One that she's been wanting and my neighbor collects Precious Moments so I got her a figurine.  Gift cards would be a great thanks you for someone you don't know well.

They sell thank you cards at walmart , target, party city. I think giving them to people is a good idea. Maybe a gift card to a restaurant they like

I had everyone write down their address at the guestbook table. I got my vards at walmart in the card section. I combined my moms thank you gift and mothers day gift and got her a nice watch. I was going to do gift cards though.
