Tilted uterus

When I went in for my appointment a couple weeks ago my doctor was trying to listen to my baby's heartbeat on the doppler and he couldn't find it. So he felt my uterus and told me that it was tiltes backwards. He then sent me for an ultrasound and the baby was alright and they were able to hear the heartbeat. The doctor told me that my uterus wwouldn't cause any problems and would not harm the baby, but I'm still kinda worried about it. Does anyone have this and is farther along having a normal pregnancy? Just wondering because I am only 10 weeks.

I have that which makes my cervix posterior and kinda twisted. Im 40 weeks n 5 days and my dr thinks a big reason why im not dilating or even thinning is because of how it is my son can't get as far down as he needs to to help me dilate, so i go sunday to start that medicine that starts with a C to help thin me then monday morning we will start pitocen, we are letting me go 4 hours with the pitocen to see if that will do anything dilation wise and if not then we will do a C-section. A lot of times the uterus will right it's self but like in my case iy hasnt amd it doesnt look like it will

My mother in law had a tilted uterus through all three of her pregnancies and still gave natural births. We were just talking about it the other day since I feel like my baby is in my back. She said it was lots of pressure on her back towards the end of her pregnancies but you'll have that either way.
