First Response is currently the most sensitive test on the market. Make sure to test with first morning urine.

I'm a doc but I found out at week 2, so I guess you can try already. I was told to use first pee in the morning.

Very few women will ovulate on the last day of their period or close to it unless you have very short cycles - the average ovulation time frame is 14 days BEFORE your next cycle starts. A test can accurately be used 2 weeks after sex, and if what you are experiencing is true pregnancy symptoms it would definitely be accurate.
