Too much weight gain, Help!!

I'm 16 weeks and already gained 15lbs. I was a healthy weight (top of my range) prior to getting pregnant. Still hardly showing seems like all the weight went to T&A. Can I diet while pregnant without fish? Dr hasn't said anything.

You will possibly gain 39-45 pounds ! It's because your pregnant! You don't have to worry about diets after you have your baby they weigh will decrease. And eating healthy will help alot

I would bring it up to your doctor at your next appt. while weight gain is to be expected, gaining too much weight isn't healthy. I wouldn't recommend dieting, but I would definitely make healthy eating choices such as lean meats, fresh fruits and veggies.

I'm 30 weeks today and have gained 38 pounds! My doctor didn't say anything until I asked. He said it was on the high side but he wasn't worried. I've been trying to watch what I eat too and the pounds just keep racking up lol. But I've been drinking a TON of water so idk if that affects the weight in any way. Try not to stress. I've been trying not to.

I'm 31 weeks and have gained 60 pounds so far...I started at 120 pounds. I had a small figure. You still can't tell I'm pregnant when looking from behind me (gained all in my stomach) but it was hereditary for me. My mom gained 75 pounds and after giving birth she only had ten pounds to lose to be back at her original weight. It's all water for us so you may have the same thing happening with you.

No, don't diet while pregnant its not safe or healthy unless  suggested by your doctor who would give you a strict guide to make sure you didn't over do it. But if the Dr hasnt said anything just yet, I wouldn't worry. Women gain weight differently during pregnancy, you could just gain more earlier. If it's really bothering you, make sure you're eating healthy foods, drinking lots of water and getting light exercise for 30 minutes to a hour every day. But this is the time were allowed to gain and not worry too much, try and enjoy it
