Transvaginal Ultrasound

I am 6weeks pregnant and had a transvaginal ultrasound today. The tech told me to insert the wand like a tampon but I think I inserted it too far because I felt a quick sharp pain.
She basically ignored it and went about the rest of the appointment without saying anything but I am concerned that it could have hurt our developing baby.
I left a message to talk to my OB but she never returned my call and now with it being the weekend I probably won't hear back until Monday.
I am curious if anyone has had anything similar happen? Is my cause for concern valid?

Hi.  You may have poked your cervix is my best guess. There is often a discomfort or bit of pain even when it is inserted. That's pretty common.  Your baby is well insulated!  I would try not to worry.  since you posted this, have you connected with your doctor?  Why did you have the ultrasound if I may ask. There is really no risk from having this done.  https://www.webmd.com/women/what-is-a-pelvic-ultrasound
