just do not worry ok. wait for it. look i do not know how i should explain it to you but all i can say is please do not put your self in worry section. its gives you really worst outcome. i know when MC happens especially when everything looks fine and eventually you hear bad news its hard to take. but if you think something is not right just wait and watch. let God do his work. ok
relax...
chin up hun.. and keep us posting...
They ain't called yet so not sure what going on yet
by looking at your message i think what i have understood so far. you are falling 4 weeks behind from your LMP. if she was only able to see a sac then its mean you were too early. Your blood test should give you a complete answer. i know doctors will not diagnose you with MC because i am sure they will thinking you are too early. my guess is that they will measure your blood tests and also should give you another U/S. even blood test should something is not right only then they will diagnose you with MC. i think you should not only rely on blood test also ask them to give you another U/S. and do not panic over LMP OR CONCEPTION. it's God's thing you might be doing ok and by disturbing yourself emotionally you might actually end up with something worst. just relax and keep your self calm. believe in what's happening and wait for proper answer.
When they say 4 weeks that means you are measuring 4 weeks pregnant.
I might have made a mistake on the gestational age. But my was counted that way bcuz my date does not match up with my lmp and is by their estimated conception date
definitely mean 4 weeks gestation... when i had my us i was 13 weeks 6 days, which was in line with my LMP
They gave me a pic n said my sac was round n smooth like its suppose to be. I'm waiting for a call back to see about my blood work
In the US, when you are given measurements it is from LMP. That way everyone is on the same page and there is no confusion.
Google gestational age. According to american pregnancy, and other websites, gestational age is calculated from the womans lmp, not conception.
The two weeks prior to conception is pretty much always factored in on the ultrasound measurements. So if everything measured four weeks, then she's four weeks, not six. The whole purpose of this was to not confuse women by making them add two weeks onto their edd based on measurement.
I dnt think at two weeks u/s would show much either
Wh.en its with the u/s they are most likely talking about the babys actual size. Eg when I did my us they told me bb measured 7 weeks ..meaning gestational age so would b considered nine weeks preggo. But u should def ask ur ob
i wouldnt have left her office with any doubts this is very serious, the answer u are looking for could mean the difference between your child (not fetus) living or not...and i wouldnt have waited a whole day before i went back to talk to her about it... you dont seem to have enough information that would be beneficial to the persons on this site trying to help, maybe if u could give some more detail then we;d be able to help more.. but at this point i believe the answers u need need to come from ur obgyn
Most, if not all ultrasound machines that an OB or RE uses add on the two weeks prior to conception. So, when you measure 4 weeks, you're really only weeks past conception. What did you see on the ultrasound? Did you see just the gestational sac? Was there a yolk sac present? If you were measuring six weeks, there most likely would have been a fetal pole and heartbeat visible. Do you have a pic of your ultrasound?
