UTI's Help!

I'm 7 months pregnant an have had a uti my while pregnancy.  What can I do to get rid of it? Any other mom's having this problem??

What people don't realize is eating anything with sugar Feeds the infection so that could be why the majority of pregnant women have reoccurring Utis ..... As for the antibiotics they prescribed I encourage women to research before popping them into your mouth We have a tendency of accepting everything the doctors tells us and not questioning anything ... I researched everything in this topic so I'm fully aware and comfortable with my desicion....if you follow what I said above , the UTI will disappear this is a fact with good diet and hygiene you can't go wrong

I wouldn't risk not taking the meds. I had a kidney infection which can occur from untreated utis and it sent me into preterm labor at 25 weeks I ended up being in the hospital for 5 days on constant iv fluids and antibiotics and even after all that my son was born at 35 weeks. My daughter I had a uti that lasted 2 months and took two rounds of antibiotics and a shot of rocephin to finally get rid of it.

just make sure you wash your hands, constantly or use hand sanatizer, drink plenty of water, and cranberry juice the one without SUGAR.! and make sure you keep it very clean down there. and you should be fine!

i've had about 3-4 uti's throughout my pregnancy they kept precribing different medication why i dont know if it was the same thing why they would give me different medication everytime... my last one they said i need to be put on medication for the rest of my pregnancy, but i got one of the side effects of peeling skin around your vagina, it started out as red bumps that hurt like hell, then all my skin peeled away and its just now coming back im not taking any more medication that my doctor prescribes.

I've had about like 5 utis in my pregnancy. I've always taken the antibiotics prescribed. I'm 37 weeks now my baby's perfectly fine. If a uti isn't treated it can lead to a kidney infection which is way worse.

I just got told I have a uti yesterday and was about to go pick up my medicine but what are the scary side effects??

I recently had a UTI and got rid of it myself. Whatever you do DO NOT take the medication they prescribe . It has scary side effects ... Here's what you do
• get a bottle of 100%organic cranberry juice (found in giant and health food store )
•drinks plenty of water throughout the day
•take D mannose (this can also be found at the health food store or online )
I took all of this got rid of it in a week ! It works !!
