Ultrasound - Does it look like a boy or girl?

Hi all,

So we did the ultra sound 3 weeks ago, which was at week 16. The doctor said that, she thought she knew the gender but couldn't say for definite.

I would be most grateful if you guys could take a look and give me your opinions. Thanks all! :)

yes it does look like a girl go to www.baby2see.com and click gender prediction and then click external organ and you can comper for yourself they are accurate i did that with my pregnancy. have a safe journey =)

Yesterday, we had confirmation that it is indeed a girl.

All tests were positive except for baby has a cyst on each side of brain. From what we were told&read, usually these are harmless,99% of the time and often disappear by the third trimester. Still can't help worrying lots and it put a downer on everything yesterday.

Anyone else have experience of this?

Well that's super exciting then that you don't have too long to wait!

at 16 weeks you can be REASONABLY sure that if she thinks it's a girl it probably is, but I wouldn't buy anything until after the scan on the 20th ;-).

Please update when you get your next ultrasound, I can't wait to find out if she was right!

She said she thought it might be a girl. Next ultrasound will be on September 20 (20 weeks and 4 days).

Sorry but you won't be able to tell from those pictures :-(. The genitals aren't even visible in those views; you would need a picture of the baby from below, between the legs (a "potty shot") to be able to hazard a guess, but since you can't even SEE the genital-area, there's no way to tell.

The doctor said she thought she knew, so she must've done a from-below view...what did she say she thought the baby was, and when is your next ultrasound?
