With my son, I had one at 12 weeks and one at 20 weeks and that was it. I was measuring close to where I should have, weight gain was adequate, no excessive edema or signs of preeclampsia or any other serious complications and baby's heart rate was consistent and normal. So there was no reason to spend extra money for extra views when they already knew everything was going well. More than two or three ultrasounds in a low-risk pregnancy isn't an example of evidence-based practice.

Almost up until u ready to have your baby...im 35 weeks and i still have ultrasound n im not high risk...they have to check for how much fluid is around your baby, they make sure your placenta is fine and everything...ultrasounds are very important

My last one was at 20 weeks I wanted to have one more before she was born but thy told me they don't do anymore unless I'm high risk so that's all I'll be having.

It depends on your situation. Of your under 30 and there's no concern with something being wrong then the ultrasound at 18-20 weeks is the last one. If you're older or they are concerned about something they could do more
