Under weight :/

Went to a appt. Today and was told im 5 pounds under weight :/
Im 25 weeks pregnant and to know im not gaining enough weight is hurtful and worrying. I eat 24/7 and get tons of fruits and vegetables in my diet.
Anyone have any suggestions for gaining weight?

Add in a whole milk milkshake daily for a evening snack.

I'm also underweight, even though I eat all the time I just can't seem to gain. My doctor suggested eating more good fats like avocados, snacking more frequently, and eating a milkshake with fresh fruit everyday.(:

More full-fat dairy, such as whole-milk yogurt.  Also, 5 lbs. underweight is not the end of the world, try to relax a little -- the baby will get what he or she needs from your body, the doc is simply concerned that you yourself do not get run down.

Fruit and veggies are great but don't help you gain.  Definitely do what the other lady suggested.

Try adding protiene to your morning meal. For example, a breakfast burrito, eggs, sausage, potatos an cheese. As a snack eat celery an peanut butter, also adding in mpre dairy to your diet helps baby gain weight. yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, ect. Protiene and dairy are the 2 most important in a growing fetus :)
