Urine sample?

So i've seen my doctor 3 times so far, at 6 weeks, 8 weeks and at 12 weeks, and im now 13 weeks. Ive only been asked to leave a urine.sample at my 6 week appt which is strange to me since when i was pregnant with my son i left one at EVERY appointment. Now i wouldt be too concerned, but at my last 2 appointments my blood pressure was a bit high. I would think my doc would want to check for protein? I guess my question is has any body else been in a similar situation? Im going to ask my doctor about it, i just want some stories/opinions

I have a son and im on my second. Currently 20 + 4 weeks. I give a urine sample every appt. So I don't think it has anything to do with previously having a child. I would ask your doctor.

I do a urine test every time I go in. But since you have a baby alreay, they might not do one? I'm not sure, but my guess is that it has to do with you already having a baby since everyone else who has experienced this has a baby too.

I am currently 25 weeks and I do a urine test everytime I go in. It has beent that way for me since week 13.

I had to leave a sample at every appointment when I was pregnant with my daughter. I've only left one at my first appointment..and I'm 28 weeks. I'm guessing it's because we had full term babies? Idk. I'll ask my doctor and let you girls know, I have an appointment oct 4th. :)

Im glad im not the only one! I think im going to find a new ob, because my last ppointment was absolutely horrible, and i feel my my doctor is being a bit careless telling me my bp is high but not checking for protein?

I have two kids and this is my third pregnancy. At every Dr. Appt. With my last two I had to leave a urine sample too. I'm 28+2 with this baby and I have yet to leave a urine sample either!

They dont even ask because when you first gwt to your appointment the receptionist gives you a label for your sample and you go in the back do tour sample, slap ypur label on it. Put it in thw silver box cabinet thing and go back to the waiting room to wait for the appointment lol

That's odd. I would ask about it. I leave a urine sample at every appt so they can check for sugar and protein.
