I thought I had yeast infection turns out to be a Uti. In 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow has anyone took penicillin in first trimester? Worries about it causing a miscarriage or birth defects..

Hi, you have to treat the uti! I didn't take straight penicillin but a version of it, amoxicillin during pregnancy. Safe. So if your doc prescribed it knowing you're pregnant, it's safe. An untreated uti is far worse than an antibiotic!
