VERY VERY IMPORTANT ?????

So I ovulated September 11th  my symptoms were gone by the 12th. I am TTC. I last had intercourse Septmeber 8th.(husbands at training for a month...ARMY) If you get pregnant before you ovulate do you still ovulate? Or when I had intercourse on the 8th do i have a high chance I could have became pregnant? Ive been doing some research but found nothing that really helped. Please be shore to answer all my questions to help me out and give an opionion. Can you get pregnant your first FERTILE day?

My last period was on the 10th or 11th and had sex on the 15th, do u have any chance on getting pregnant?

I have been trying for more than a year. I had gotton pregnant but sadley it ended in a M/C at about 5 weeks. Its been 5 months since my M/C

You HAVE to ovulate to get pregnant. If you had sex on the 8th and then ovulated on the 11th then there is a chance that you could get pregnant because sperm can live in the vagina for up to 5-7 days. We can't really tell you what your chances are other than a healthy couple that has sex right around ovulation has a 15-25% chance of conceiving each month. The best advice that I can give you is try to relax (stress is not good if you are pregnant, and will just delay your period and cause more stress if your not) and test is 2 weeks.

How long have you been trying? Remember, it can take a normal healthy couple up to a year of TTC before they get their BFP. If for some reason this isn't your month I would suggest charting and using OPK's. That will really help you understand the process and pinpoint your most fertile days.

To answer your questions in order, first off...you don't get pregnant and ovulate after. You ovulate and an egg is released, when you have sex around this time, if a sperm gets to the egg, then the egg implants in your uterus 6-12 days after the egg is fertilized. Since you had sex on the 8th, and say you ovulated on the 11th,  you do have a chance that you are pregnant as sperm can live inside your body for a few days.

It is impossible to get pregnant before you ovulate. You have to have an egg released and available for the sperm to encounter.  You have a 25% chance every month to get pregnant if you time your intercourse with your ovulation.  It is possible the sperm from the 8th was still viable when you did ovulate on the 11th.  So yes, u can get pregnant from your first fertile day. Only time will tell at this point. If your period does not arrive take a test.
