WHAT can I do???
I give birth on Sunday to a beautiful princess, she was 8lbs 1oz I'm not breastfeeding bc I'm in so much pain from down there that i can go through more pain with my boobs,what can i do to make the milk go away???
At least, talk to a lactation consultant. It shouldn't be massively painful; the baby might have a too-little grasp on the nipple. Get the baby's latch on you checked by a professional. Also, you could use a breast pump, they don't hurt.
You should breastfeed your baby no matter what, its not about you its about your girl. The earlier she gets used to drink your milk the better, it will be harder to get her used to it otherwise. Plus in the first days theres amore immunity nutrients in your milk.
Cold raw cabbage leaves on your boobs will help dry up your milk, your Dr can also prescribe birth control to help dry it up
