Well I walked most of my 1st pregnancy and on the day my plug came out around noon I walked 4 hours straight that evening and the next morning I went in around 5:30am and had my son at 7:38am that's from walking it help me! Some! Just depends on your body!
It helps settle the baby head down and it helps with labor it makes it easier and it does put u in labor but not always but it does cuz the babys head is pushing on ur cervix and making u contract it does it all pretty much cuz my doc told me to start walking a lot wen i was 37 weeks and i asked him if its true
Yea I wouldn't wanna be 40 weeks having my baby lol I kinda wanna get induced again this pregnancy
I walk and walk and walk, im 38+6. My son is engaged head down in a great position, 80% effaced, 2cm dilated and nothing still. My dr stretched my cervix today so hopefully that gets things going. Hes going on vacation for a week on saturday so i hope to go in labour before so he can deliver my baby!
Ik I do walk enough lol but don't wanna have him to early.
It works I'm always walking. And I'm showing signs of labor already. I'm 34+2 days. I still have 3-6 week's to go. Helps a lot.
My dr says sex and nipple stimulation is best. Orgasm and nipple stimulation contracts your uterus. He says walking doesnt to much...if anything!
I walked with my first and it worked I walked two hours staraight non stop and I went into active labor. I was 37 weeks
I walkd soo much with my 2nd son and he was 9 days late lol and i had to be induced.
I don't believe it works... I walked n walked w my last and nothing lol btw I am 29 weeks an baby is head down an has been for weeks... Every one is different :)
If it helps i walked between 4-6 miles daily with dog, since first trimester, Mr came at 42w lol x
Erm I'm not too sure tbh, I'm a ftm. But doesn't baby have to be engaged before dialation happens? And they don't usually engage until your last few weeks, so I'm guessing you would be ok, perhaps ask your doctor next time you see them :) sorry I couldn't be much more help. Hopefully bumps it up for someone who does.
