I'm almost 9 months pregnant and only gained 5lbs. Is it possible for you not to gain weight at all and the weight you did Gain all belong baby?

With my first I gained only 7lbs... Currently pregnant with #2 26wks and have gained about 8 lbs, loss 3 at last appt... So 6lbs now... Baby is healthy and measuring right on target... So yes I say it's normal... I am healthy and baby weighed 6 lbs 12 oz... So no worries, Congrats... I pray for a safe healthy delivery for you and baby...

It's possible, but a full term baby usually weighs around 7-8lbs, your placenta weighs about 3lbs and your additional blood weighs a load too, so a total gain of 5lb is definitely low.  Having said that, if you were overweight to start with, you may have lost weight whilst baby gained.  I assume you've been having regular check ups and the baby is measuring normally.
