Well very confused right now

Ok so i posted onhere a few times now. I am very confused to as what's going on with this pregancy. I was told on Friday things aint looking good and on Sunday to prepare myself for the worst . I been in bits here. Already suffering a missed miscarriage last march. My blood levels are as follows.
3.12 hcg110
5.12 hcg 373
7.12 hcg 800

ten days later
17.12 hcg 2500
19.12 hcg 2600
and today hcg 3000

any ideas here anyone o and my sore boobs symptoms came back this morning

Had the scan on the 29th i saw the heartbeat, went again today 8 days later and no hb , baby measuring just 8 weeks so right size from last scan on the 29th, all i have is three photos to look at, im back at the hospital in the morning, booked in for a d and c

I'm so sorry. My dr wouldn't look into why I m/c either and it was so frustrating. I went through 6 OB's before i finally found an OB who would listen and take me seriously. If you don't like how you are being treated find a new OB. There are SO many out there and one of them has to be willing to treat you. And treat you aggressively. My new OB figured out right away that I gave PCOS which no OB prior noticed!  He gave me Clomid and another med and we did IUI. I was pregnant within 2 cycles of treatment with this dr after 34 MONTHS of ttc and one miscarriage and going through SIX OB's. I think half the battle is finding the dr who will listen and treat you and care for you like you are their own family.

I'm wishing you the best of luck. I hope that Lil lady and I were able to give you some hope that it is possible. Her and I got pregnant within days of each other and have been talking through out our pregnancies and prior during fertility treatment.

My doctor was concerned about my HCG levels but that was because they were dropping. If they are still rising then im not sure why he is so concerned. They did take some tests after my second m/c but everything came back normal and they had no idea why I m/c. I think it may have been because I couldn't produce enough Progesterone on my own. In this pregnancy I took Prometrium pills (progesterone) and am now 33 weeks along. If you do end up losing this pregnancy (I'm hoping you wont!!) then you could ask your doctor about Clomid as well. It's used to regulate your periods but we took it because it also releases the healthiest egg/eggs. Hopefully your doc wont dismiss you and is agressive like mine was. I wish you lots of luck!!

I been on the phone to the doctor two times today and i was there last night i want my progestrone Levels taken and looked at i been reading a lot online and seems like a lot of women miscarry due to low levels ????? Did u get any investigations in any of your miscarriages. ????? The doctor said if i get any pain go to the hospital i have also asked the hospital for a earlier appointment but i been told the doctor at the hospital tears deals with early pregnancy has said no i need to wait unless anything changes between now and then. Am in a great deal of stress here. If u miscarry again my doctor has said tests will be done after i miscarry and i will be referred to a specialist within that area so can see what the actual problem is

That's strange that they are making you wait so long to confirm a m/c or not. Why did your doctor say that you would lose this pregnancy? When I had my first m/c it was confirmed because there was no heartbeat at 11 weeks. My second one was confirmed because I started bleeding. I would question your doctor as why they think that you will miscarry. I'm sorry to hear that you are going through this. I know it's hard, try and hang in there hun.

No there is no bleeding and my symptom i had has suddenly come back this morning i just dont understand, lssttime when i had a missed miscarriage i was meant to be 14 weeks and on 12 week scan it shown it stopped at 5 weeks 6 days but my body dint let go till like 15 weeks. That was with my first pregnancy. This is now my second i had a scan omg Friday there was a sac measuring 5 weeks plus possibly 5 and a half weeks. Sounds about right for my working out dates. But now with these hcg levels things aint looking right. Its strange how my symptoms has suddenly come back i dont understand what is happening to me. Im booked in for a blood test and a scan on the 29th of this month its so far away . I cant handle the pain i was in lssttime

When I had a missed m/c my HCG numbers were still going up but unfortunately the baby stopped developing and didnt make it. The numbers can still go up and you can still have a m/c. I would listen to your doctor and prepare for the worst. That way, if the baby makes it you will be that much more grateful. Are you bleeding at all?

I know that hcg starts to level off or even drop when further into pregnancy, but I'm not sure you are far along enough for that to be the case. I don't see why your dr said to expect the worst in the beginning - it seems your numbers were fine.

But as of lately, they don't seem to be so fine. I would start preparing for the worst, just so you are prepared. But don't give up yet! Ask your dr to give you an ultrasound (or several) and more blood tests. Don't give up until you know FOR SURE that it won't work. My dr allowed me a ton of tests, about 2 weeks, and 3 ultrasounds to determine that my previous pregnancy was not working out (it was ectopic and getting worse).

With numbers that fluctuate like that, it could be a missed miscarriage, a blighted ovum, or even an ectopic pregnancy. A few ultrasounds should help you determine what is going on. Then, I would talk to your dr about how to NOT have a miscarriage in the future - maybe there is a hormone problem that can easily be solved. Or maybe genetic counciling is the way to go. HCG levels typically double every 2-3 days. It seems yours was doing that in the beginning, but now they are barely going up. This can be an indication of miscarriage, which is probably why your doc has tried to prepare you for the worst.

I'm so sorry you're going through this! Has your doc scheduled an ultrasound to find out exactly what is going on?
