Good luck! You're cervix is so sensitive and with increased blood flow to that area anything touching it could cause some spotting. Like sex, or sticking the paper up there to check. Been there done that, I've had losses in the past, so I am always checking to see if I'm bleeding. I hope your ultrasound goes great and your little wombat is seen with a nice strong heartbeat!
Got an ultra sound on thursday...spotting has stopped haven't seen it since this morning. So let's hope my little wombat is ok.
Yea my bf has put me on bed rest. And the spotting is only there if I stick toilet paper right up, and it's not even there every time I have to leave it for about four hours. And it's a discoloration not really blood. I think I'm gonna rest for the next few days and see how it goes. If the bleeding starts coming out or getting heavier or darker. But my stomach cramps aren't bad today there like normal...and I haven't been having diarrhea today. So let's hope my little wombat is ok.
I know it's not exactly what the other girls are saying but this is exactly how my pregnancy started n I'm now 34 weeks seeing as it's only spotting and not acctually bleeding I wouldn't worry much at this point just put your feet up and rest and relax and follow up with your doctor he should do blood tests or send u for an early scan to make sure everything is how it should be n baby is there to stay!
Hope everything turns out ok keep us updated
I agree, you need to call your OB. There is no way to hear a heartbeat at 7 weeks except through ultrasound. And while they say spotting is normal you still need to see your doctor.
I think you need to get a second opinion! Spotting during early pregnancy is more common than you might think, BUT it is not normal usually and the fact that you had diorreah is a pretty bad sign I was told to watch out for it as a bad sign. The doctor you saw at the ER is off his head, there is no way to hear the babies heartbeat through your tummy at 7 weeks even the very best dopplers can't pick it up that early. If you can you need to get a second opinion and get in for an early scan so they can check your baby! I hope everything goes well for you and your baby, don't wait go now!! if you can. good luck and all the best to you hun! :) x
Brown blood is old blood and not really something to usually be worried about. Also, menstrual like cramps are completely normal during pregnancy and just your uterus stretching and getting ready for baby.
One thing ai realized though is that the ER is not a place to go during pregnancy. A lot of people get worried during pregnancy and feel if they go there they will get answers. Fact of the matter is, they are not trained obstetricians and usually give the wrong information. Not only that but they can't give you very much information on things they do know and just tell you to see your doctor to let them know what's going on and sadly if you are miscarrying there is nothing they can do to help. Heck sometimes they even say you're miscarrying when you're not. :(
All in all though I would contact your doctor tomorrow and maybe get in for an early ultrasound to make sure everything is OK. Best of luck im sure everything will be fine!
