What could happen?

Hi there,

I did a home pregnancy test last week Saturday and they were positive. We were really excited! I went for blood tests this past Tuesday to see how far long I was and the test showed I was 4 weeks. This past Friday I started bleeding heavily and rushed to the Doc straight away. They tested my progesterone levels which were 60. This past Saturday I went for a scan. The scan shows that the baby is still there but the scan says I am 6 weeks 4 days? I have still been spotting slighting every now and again. Should I be concerned?

I had a lot of blood for probably about 30mins if that... That was at 6:30 am at 8:30 am I was at the Doctor... Drew blood at 9 to test my progesterone which was 60 which is rather high I think for so early... The following day at 13h10 I had my scan and the baby was still there. All I can do now is be positive and believe that God is on our side!
Going for my next scan next week some time :)

I've been spotting for 9 months during my two pregnancies. If it's not a large amount then I wouldn't worry but keep your doctor posted. It seemed like I was always spotting when it was supposed to be my period. I asked doctor to put me on progesterone to help the baby adjust in the uterus. maybe you should do the same. I am on my 5th pregnancy now, after two miscarriages, and also was on progesterone. All seems to be good now and no spotting. But it was pretty heavy at the beginning.

i know its terrifying but try to relax until you know for sure whats going on, believe me i know this is easier said than done iv had 5 m/c so i know the feeling     keep posting hope everything goes well

well if the baby is still there and theres a heartbeat  I'd say everything is ok . this has happened to me but sadly I lost my baby.  Ive heard alot of stories about women who bleed heavy while pregnant .every women is different. If the spotting continues I would see your doc again just to make sure everything is still ok. good luck :)
