My son didn't really use toys until he was about 4 months old. Although I would recommend get a baby play mat, that was my son loved it, stick rattles and play mirrors on it so they look up and can see their reflections. You can get the for quite cheap x
My youngest nephew is about 7 months old and is crawling an he has one little monkey with a teething ring in it other than that my sister in law just buys wipes that come in the bags and he plays with those just cause the noise. Other than that he plays with anything on the floor. Shoes , clothes, blankets, he'll even go the the laundry basket and pull clothes Down and chew on them . Lately he's been fasinated with plugs and outlets :-( but really nothing much to entertain them
I used the bouncy seat. Like the thing thw baby lays back in and has a little thing at the bottom that plays music and vibrates. Only I used my feet and bounced her while I folded laundry or read a book or crocheted or just needed her to go to sleep so I could do dishes. Shes 5 months and I can still bounce her in it. The swing was a pain but the bouncer gives the same sensation for the baby. Im even buying another one bc this one is tymbers and I know I will need one for both of them
A bouncer! For the ongest time our son refused to use a crib so that bouncer saved us from sleeping on pins and needles out of fear of having him in bed with us. And onsies are the best because of how may times you have to change a newborns diaper. I always found the ones with little footies on them to be more convenient since most babies lose or kick off their socks easily. One last thing, alot of babies are prine to colic to we kept those gas drops on hand to give him before he ate and they really worked wonders!!
Diapers of course butt cream wipes lots of them cause at first you can only really wipe them down snuggie wraps whatever they are called.
Well that's helpful thanks guys :) I won't be to worried about toys so much then haha
Toys aren't very important until 2-3 months and even then it will just be rattles and teethers. Clothes are necessary, I loved receiving blankets they make good light blankets but also I used them for burp cloths because burp cloths are so small and occassionally(you never know when) baby will spew a lot and its good to have something to catch all the mess.
Following. Ftm also and I've been curious as well.
They dont really usw toys. My daughter is almost 3 months old and has hardly used any toys. Most they do for thr first while is eat, sleep and need diaper changes.
This is my first baby but I have 5 nieces and nephews and as babied they liked the things on their crib and swing that made music and light up . And mirrors to see them selves. Any other toys after that didn come till they teethed. And that was stuff yu could out in the freezer to make cold and they could chew on . And passys _if your going to use them_ I've noticed when they are a few months old they always liked the ones with the holding ring on them so they could take it out their mouths and put it back in and play with it. Other than that they weren't really into toys till 6_7+ months and that was just little things for tummy time when theyd start crawling and scooting. If this helps any
They dint realy need ir play ti bout 8 werks cos they cant crasp n dint understand but few cheep shaky things wat jingle n maybe sumnst soft wat they can put in mouth n chew n chuck around x
